I’m Raven — the creator of Fire & Iron Woodworks.

Fire & Iron began with a love for creating wood finishes unlike anything I had seen before. But over time, I realized I was drawn to this craft for a much deeper reason.

Before the fire ever starts, every piece begins with a choice.

I search for wood with potential — looking beyond the surface at the grain, character, and story hidden underneath.

The FireForged™ process begins with fire.

At first, it looks destructive. The surface is burned, changed, and transformed. To someone else, it might even look ruined.

But the fire is only the beginning.

Through patience, careful work, and refinement, something completely different starts to appear. The rough exterior is removed, revealing depth, character, and a beauty that was there all along.

I think life can be a lot like that.

The hardest seasons we go through can feel like they are breaking us down — but sometimes those moments reveal strength, character, and parts of ourselves we never knew were there.

That belief is built into every piece I create.

I don’t make pieces that look untouched.

I create pieces that have been transformed — shaped through fire, refined by hand, and brought into something greater than where they started.
