Creating FireCandy™ is not about adding as much color as possible. It is about knowing exactly where color belongs—and when the most important decision is allowing part of the natural wood to remain untouched.

Because every piece of wood responds differently to fire, no two FireCandy™ creations can ever be exactly alike.

The finish is not meant to hide the craftsmanship.

It is meant to reveal even more of it.

Your FireCandy™ piece may begin with a complete vision, a favorite color, a meaningful inspiration, or simply a feeling you want the finished piece to carry.

You may choose your colors and preferred style—or ask me to guide the creative direction for you. This process should feel exciting, never like homework.

Once your actual FireForged™ wood has been prepared, I will create a personalized color-placement preview before permanent color is applied.

Your preview will be sent directly to the email address provided with your order.

You will have 72 hours to:

• Approve the color placement
• Request adjustments
• Collaborate with me on the final direction

If I do not receive a response within that window, the preview will be treated as approved so production can continue on schedule.

Once the design is approved, permanent color application begins.

Your ideas begin the story. The revealed wood helps determine where that story goes next.

Every completed FireCandy™ piece becomes a permanently numbered original within the FireCandy™ Collection.

Mini shelves, tables, home décor, and completely custom commissions all enter the same collection in the order they are completed. Each receives a unique collection number that is permanently recorded and will never be reused or reassigned.

Your piece will arrive with:

• A personalized Collector Record featuring the finished piece
• A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity
• Its permanent FireCandy™ collection number
• A record of its piece type, palette, dimensions, completion date, and story

You may also name your piece.

The piece earns its name as its character is revealed.

You may arrive with a name already chosen, wait until you receive your color-placement preview, ask Raven to name it, or leave it unnamed. This part of the experience should feel meaningful and enjoyable—never like homework.

After the 72-hour preview window closes, you will have an additional 10 days to choose a name while production continues. Naming does not delay the creation of your piece.

Whether the name comes from your original inspiration or from the character revealed through fire, grain, and color, it becomes part of the piece’s permanent record.

Every FireCandy™ piece is handcrafted one at a time.

The FireForged™ process first reveals the grain, texture, and natural character hidden within the wood. Transparent color is then carefully applied, evaluated, and refined layer by layer before the piece is protected beneath multiple layers of a crystal-clear, marine-grade finish.

This is the most time-intensive finish I create because every stage depends on the one before it.

Nothing is rushed.

After your design preview is approved, production normally takes approximately four weeks. Please allow up to five weeks before shipment so each layer can be properly applied, cured, inspected, and prepared for delivery.

Your piece is built to be enjoyed. Routine care will help preserve its clarity and beauty:

• Dust with a soft microfiber cloth
• Clean with a damp cloth as needed
• Dry the surface after cleaning
• Wipe up spills promptly
• Use coasters, trivets, and cutting boards on frequently used surfaces

Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, steel wool, harsh chemicals, and prolonged standing water.

Every FireCandy™ order includes a care guide, so the recommended instructions will always be close at hand.

Patience is part of the process because every layer, transition, curing stage, and inspection contributes to the finished piece.

Will my piece look exactly like the photographs?

No—and that is intentional. The photographs show previous FireCandy™ creations. Every piece begins with different wood, grain, and natural character, so your finished piece will be uniquely yours.

Can I choose my own colors?

Yes. You may choose your colors and preferred style, share an inspiration, or ask me to develop the creative direction for you.

Will I receive a design preview?

Yes. Before permanent color is applied, you will receive a personalized color-placement preview using your actual FireForged™ wood. The review window remains open for 72 hours.

Will the wood grain remain visible?

Yes. Transparent color is used specifically to work with the FireForged™ grain rather than cover it. Grain, texture, movement, and natural variation remain central to the finished design.

Is FireCandy™ durable?

Yes. Each piece is protected beneath multiple layers of a crystal-clear, marine-grade finish chosen for durability, clarity, and long-term protection. Like any fine furniture, it will benefit from routine care.

Can FireCandy™ be used outdoors?

Some pieces may be created for covered outdoor use with appropriate construction and finishing materials. Please discuss the intended location with me before ordering so I can determine whether the piece is suitable.

Can I request custom dimensions or a completely original design?

Absolutely. You may personalize one of my existing designs or contact me about a completely custom FireCandy™ creation.

Are all completed FireCandy™ pieces numbered?

Yes. Every completed FireCandy™ piece becomes a permanently numbered original within the FireCandy™ Collection and includes its own Collector Record and hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. Its collection number will never be reused or reassigned.
