Every tabletop begins with carefully selected solid wood. Each board enters my complete FireForged™ process, where fire transforms the surface before I carefully resurface it to reveal grain, texture, knots, and natural character that could not be designed or duplicated.
Transparent FireCandy™ color is then applied to work with what the fire has revealed—not cover it. Multiple layers of crystal-clear marine-grade finish are applied to all six sides, protecting the completed surface while creating the depth and clarity that define FireCandy™.
Below the tabletop, a handcrafted X-shaped industrial pipe base provides a strong, architectural foundation without visually overpowering the wood.
The result is a table that feels bold without feeling heavy, refined without feeling delicate, and distinctive without chasing trends.

Before permanent color is applied, I will create a personalized color-placement preview using your actual FireForged™ tabletop.
Your preview will be sent to the email address used at checkout, normally within approximately one week of your order.
You will have 72 hours to:
• Approve the proposed color placement
• Request adjustments
• Collaborate with me on the final placement
If I do not receive a response during the 72-hour review period, the preview will be considered approved so production can continue on schedule.
Once the preview is approved or the review period closes, permanent coloring begins.
I match your selected colors as closely as possible, but the final appearance may vary slightly as the transparent color interacts with the grain, tone, and natural character of your actual wood.

You don’t have to know its name when you order.
You may:

Every completed FireCandy™ piece enters one continuous collection and receives a permanent FireCandy™ Collection number. Collection numbers are recorded by Fire & Iron Woodworks and are never reassigned.

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
Every X-Design Accent Table is handcrafted individually by Raven.
The X-style base isn’t an off-the-shelf furniture leg. Every base is built in my workshop using genuine Schedule 40 black iron pipe and cast-iron fittings.
Each pipe is carefully measured, every fitting is individually selected, and every connection is assembled by hand. The completed base is then cleaned, prepared, and finished with a durable satin-black coating suitable for both interior and exterior use.
Working with threaded industrial pipe requires patience, precision, and careful planning. Every connection affects the alignment, strength, and final appearance of the table.
The X-shaped design creates visual interest while keeping the tabletop open and allowing the FireForged™ wood to remain the focal point.
Each base also includes my own adjustable leveling-foot design, developed through years of building and refining my furniture.
Real homes don’t always have perfectly level floors. The adjustable feet allow you to fine-tune the table so it sits confidently on all four feet without wobbling or rocking.

To better protect your table during shipping, the handcrafted X-style pipe base is packaged separately.
The base attaches easily using the supplied hardware, allowing your table to be assembled in just a few minutes.
MADE TO ORDER
This is a made-to-order collector piece.
Production typically takes approximately 4 weeks. Please allow up to 5 weeks for your table to be created, finished, inspected, documented, and prepared for shipment. The personalized preview process is included within this production schedule.
Once your table is finished, I will send you photos of the completed piece before it is packaged for shipping.
Shipping within the available delivery area is included in the purchase price—there is no separate shipping charge at checkout.
CARE
Dust with a soft microfiber cloth. For everyday cleaning, use warm water with a small amount of mild soap, then dry the surface. Wipe up spills promptly.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, steel wool, harsh chemicals, and prolonged standing water. Use coasters, trivets, or protective pads when needed.
The protective finish is suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use. Like most clear wood finishes, prolonged direct sunlight may gradually introduce a slight yellow tone over time.
A care guide is included with your completed piece.
